Win 11 is an operating system that is recently released by Microsoft on June 24, 2021. we A Quick Look at what new inside this windows 11 OS.

DESIGN LANGUAGE

The entire Microsoft Windows eco-system is moving towards GLASSMORPHISM, as it is more inviting and provides a great user experience.

IT WAS EVIDENT

It was evident that windows will take it further when recently in the windows 10 update, Microsoft first used GLASSMORPHISM. Because of its accessibility and intuitiveness. As it gives a realistic look.

ICONS

Fluent icon design across apps.

Finally, icons have got the need attention and are redesigned with a Fluent colour style using more vivid and vibrant colours. Now they’ve got a more modern look and feel to them.

FONTS

Present a softer look and are optimized for Universal Apps.

ANIMATIONS

New animations are added in-app opening, closing and navigations. They are also fluent and intuitive.

WINDOWS

Rounded corners are introduced in most of the app windows’ to encourage and empower users to interact with the app, in short, are more inviting.

SHADOWS

Shadows of windows and popups are more softer and soothing.

THE DESKTOP

START MENU, TASKBAR, ROUNDED CORNERS

Windows 11 now features a redesigned Start Menu, taskbar experience (all icons by default rest in center position) and windows corners are rounded and transparent.

TASKBAR

The app icons are centered by default. By clicking that Start button reveals the updated Start menu, which Microsoft says is powered by the cloud and Office 365. The menu features recommended apps and
documents you may like to work on.

THEMES & WIDGETS

A new set of themes are added to Windows 11. Widgets are also back again just like windows vista. But now they offer AI-powered updates across different apps, all optimized for you. It includes weather updates, news, a to-do list, and much more.

SNAP LAYOUT

Windows snap features are improved by the addition of Snap Layouts, Snap Groups and Desktops. This way the organization of multiple desktop apps are easier.

TEAMS INTEGRATION

Microsoft Teams will be directly integrated as part of Windows 11. With Teams, the Chat from Microsoft Teams is also directly integrated into the taskbar. They’ll be able to connect through text, chat, voice or video with all of their personal contacts.

ANDROID APPS ON PC

The biggest update is that android apps are also coming to Windows for the first time. Imagine recording and uploading a TikTok video right from your pc.

DirectX 12 Ultimate is introduced which means a higher rate of gaming. Auto HDR for a wider, more vivid range of colours.

Microsoft store is integrated to host all types of apps like work, entertainment ( streaming ) and productivity etc. Including leading first and third-party apps like Microsoft Teams, Visual Studio, Disney+, Adobe Creative Cloud, Zoom and Canva.
